Physical Therapy Equipment - Preventative Maintenance (PMs)
MD BioTek, Inc. is equipped to do Preventative Maintenance (PM) when we come to your facility to do your Electrical Safety Tests and Calibrations. PMs are done to lengthen the life of your physical therapy equipment and are not a required service. Some regulatory agencies do require that your exercise equipment have independent verification of proper operation and safety. We perform PMs on Treadmills, Weight Stacks, Upper/Lower Cycles, Steppers and other rehabilitation equipment.
During a PM, the service technician checks to make sure the equipment is operating properly, makes sure belts and pulleys are aliened properly and lubricates the moving parts as specified by the manufacturer of the equipment. We can instruct you on how to maintain your equipment on a continual basis, saving you future expense.
